Though it is hard to pick up a newspaper or any south Florida publication without reading fodder regarding our extravagant property taxes, I look around and remember why this is such an incredible place to live.

Palm trees sway in the breeze and we are beginning to detect a slight temperature drop reminding us that while other parts of the country prepare for snow, we await our beautiful, mild winter weather.

Many days our travels are hampered by road construction. These are the same roads that are being repaired in anticipation of our winter tourists and all the much needed revenue they bring with them and infuse into our businesses and our economy.

These are also the roads that lead to our gorgeous ocean. This stunning show of nature is there waiting for us whenever we make time in our busy schedule just to drive by. I am remiss to say that I do this so seldom. When, at last, I make my way over to A1A, I am once again reacquainted with the grandeur of our coastline and the incredible tropical paradise we call home.

Blessings? We have a multitude.

In the spirit of the season, we invite you to participate in our Food Drive during the months of November and December. For donating 5 cans of food during a service call, we will discount our service $25 and leave you with a $25 gift card for future service. And of course, we welcome you to come by and visit our new location at 5691 NE 14th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale anytime during the month of November and December, where you may also donate canned food and receive a gift card as well. All donated food will be given to the Daily Bread Food Bank which serves those in need in our own community.
