An Ounce of Prevention is Worth…

So to keep blocked drain and sewer problems for happening in the first step, here are a few simple steps to follow:

Don't pour grease down the kitchen sink.

Don't wash coffee grounds down the sink.

Clean tub and shower drain strainers that are removable.

Clean pop-up stoppers in the bathroom sink and the tub regularly. Lift out sink pop-ups once a week and rinse them off.

Keep sewer pipes from the house free of tree roots.

Once a month, fill each sink in your home to the brim and then pull up the stopper. The volume and weight of the water will help flush the drain lines.
